Here is where you BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY.

1:1 COACHING

If you’re looking for something completely integrated and tailored to your specific needs, 1:1 coaching might be the right choice.

I work on an individualised basis, exploring what you need and tailoring my delivery and techniques to suit you.

By asking challenging, thought-provoking questions, I can help you uncover where you might be stuck and any beliefs or resistance that are holding you back.

You will gain clarity about what you want and don’t want and feel empowered to move forward with confidence and alignment.

The coaching is trauma-informed when needed, and I incorporate cognitive and somatic practices into sessions to foster lasting change.

We can use various coaching techniques and practices to help you move from resistance to progress, and from progress to where you want to be!

"I’m fascinated by trauma and how this impacts the way the brain and body work together to shape our behaviours, emotions, and beliefs. When you grasp this, and the impact trauma has, you begin to have freedom”

Somatic practice

Instead of focusing solely on thoughts or behaviour, somatic work draws attention to physical sensations, breath, posture, and patterns of tension shaped by past experiences.

These patterns often sit outside conscious awareness but strongly influence how you feel, react, and make decisions.

Through gentle, evidence-based techniques — such as breathwork, grounding, vagus nerve techniques, and nervous system regulation tools — you learn to recognise what your body is signalling and shift those states safely.

This supports emotional resilience, clearer thinking, and a more regulated nervous system.

Somatic practice is invaluable for people who feel “stuck,” overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves.

offers a practical, compassionate way of working that honours the whole human: mind, body, and lived experience.

Emotional Freedom Technique

“I support people to untangle the messy space between who they think they should be and who they actually are.”

If you’re looking for something completely integrated to clear emotions and beliefs, EFT might be the right choice.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) combines gentle tapping on specific acupressure points with focused attention on a thought, feeling, or memory.

It is a somatic approach that helps calm the amygdala, lower stress hormones, and interrupt those spiralling nervous-system reactions so the body can settle and the mind can think clearly again.

It can help you shift negative thinking patterns and those pesky beliefs holding you back.

We can combine EFT and coaching; sometimes this combination can work well for clearing beliefs and working towards goals or outcomes you want to achieve.

In-Person Group Somatic Release Session In-Person Group Somatic Release Session
Quick View
In-Person Group Somatic Release Session
£35.00

An in-person, somatic release session held at Yoga Corner, Union Street Plymouth - 17th July 6.30 - 9pm

This group session is designed to help you safely unwind long-held tension, reconnect with your body’s signals. The session creates space for emotional regulation, clarity, and more profound healing through co-regulation.

Faraday will take you through the process of:

  • Felt sense awareness — learning how to tune into your body’s internal signals, not just your thoughts

  • Orienting — using your environment to create immediate cues of safety

  • Resourcing — building internal anchors of stability and support

  • Pendulation — gently moving between activation and safety, so you can process without becoming overwhelmed

This isn’t about pushing through, catharsis, or “fixing” yourself. It’s about learning how to feel, safely, gradually, and with more control.

Out of your head, into a heart-centred state - that's where Max takes the room; with 18 years practicing, 6 teaching, qualified with YogaLap years back, he'll be leading on:

  • Qi gong and do breathwork through the evening,

  • Blending NLP into the practice

  • You won't be just breathing and moving; you'll be subtly shifting the patterns running underneath.

Expect to leave clearer, calmer, with a sense of internal power and strength, and noticeably more in your body than when you walked in.

To end the practice, the beautiful Jo at Yoga Corner will provide you with a sound bath to integrate the work you have done in the session.

Foundations of Trauma Healing
£20.00

Join our workshop at The Green Space, Mutley Plain, Plymouth 2nd July - 6.30 - 8.30 pm.

This 2-hour workshop offers a practical and compassionate introduction to the foundations of trauma healing. it’s designed for anyone who wants to better understand their emotional responses, patterns of behaviour, and how the body holds and processes stress. Trauma isn’t just about what happened to you—it’s about what your nervous system learned to do to cope. This session will help you begin to understand those responses, not as flaws, but as intelligent survival adaptations.

We’ll explore key concepts from trauma-informed practice and the nervous system health, including:

  • Felt sense – learning how to tune into the body’s internal signals rather than overriding them

  • Building awareness – recognising triggers, patterns, and automatic responses

  • Resourcing – developing internal and external tools that support safety and regulation

  • Titration & pendulation – gentle approaches to working with difficult emotions without becoming overwhelmed

  • Nervous system health – understanding regulation, stress cycles, and why “just calming down” doesn’t work

This is not about forcing change or “fixing” yourself.

It’s about creating enough safety to notice what’s happening inside you—and building the capacity to respond differently over time.

Faraday Fearnside
Professional Coach & Somatic Practitioner

I’m Faraday, a qualified coach and tutor, a somatic practitioner, and an eternal student of life, the human brain, and the nervous system (gotta love learning!). Due to my own healing and recovery I am particularly interested in how trauma impacts the body and mind.

I’m fascinated by how the brain and body work together to shape behaviour, emotion, and belief, and how trauma impacts this, keeping us stuck in loops of thinking and behaviour patterns.

When we understand our nervous system and the impact of our past on how we think and feel, we stop fighting ourselves and start working with our mind and body. That’s the foundation of everything I teach — coach, whether it’s regulating your stress response, breaking patterns of self-sabotage, or learning how to thrive (not just survive) in everyday life.

“I support people to untangle the messy space between who they think they should be and who they actually are.”

“It all begins with a decision. the moment you choose to change your life, Coaching is where your decision turns into action. Here you are given the tools and support to make lasting change possible.”
